Experience & Expertise

Applied structure across media, culture, and institutional environments

Overview

Two decades inside broadcast, production, branding, and live technical environments shaped a core understanding:

Systems determine outcomes.

The experience spans radio networks, national production environments, live event direction, multimedia production, and institutional framework design. The through-line is consistent:

Structure first. Execution second.

Broadcast &
Network Production

Sixteen years operating inside a national broadcast network of 70+ stations (Southern Cross Austereo) provided frontline exposure to distributed media systems at scale.

The work extended beyond production. It required alignment — branding, network imaging, commercial output, and distribution operating coherently across metropolitan and regional markets.

Roles included:

• National Production Audio Distribution Manager
• Network Image Audio Producer
• Network Commercial Producer
• Network & Local On-Air Announcer / Program Host

The practical insight gained:

• Incentive alignment inside media networks
• Audience psychology at scale
• Brand consistency across distributed systems
• Operational discipline under live conditions
• Communication dynamics across individuals, organisations, and mass audiences

Currently:

Show Producer & Panel Operator — ACE Radio 1494 2AY (Albury)
Live broadcast execution, outside broadcasts, and multimedia production.

Live Events &
Technical Direction

Hands-on experience in:

• Live audio mixing
• Lighting rigging
• Stage production
• Technical coordination

Work delivered in collaboration with regional venues and production teams, including large-scale public events and commercial productions.

Live environments
teach one thing quickly —

If the structure fails, everything fails.

This informs later institutional thinking — architecture must hold under pressure.

Multimedia, Branding & Production

Experience spans:

• TV commercial production
• Voiceover (40,000+ commercials voiced across career)
• Scriptwriting and narrative development
• Photography and visual direction
• Branding and marketing campaigns
• Web development and digital content

The commercial discipline refined:

Message precision.
Tone calibration.
Audience retention.
Conversion psychology.

Notable commercial voice clients have included:

• KFC
• McDonald’s
• Telstra
• Harvey Norman
• Hyundai
• IGA
• Supercheap Auto
• And others across national campaigns.

From Experience to Structure

This page documents the origin of the structural approach presented throughout this site.

It traces how practical experience across media, production, and organisational environments informed that philosophy.

Experience informs structure.
Structure informs design.
Design shapes outcomes.
